Chilcare and Preschool Working Group

Preschools and child care providers are a vital part of the solution to the epidemic of childhood obesity as healthy habits are formed early and a large percentage of children spend a significant portion of their day in licensed child care centers and homes. The Childcare and Preschool Providers working group will engage early childhood professionals, parents, children and the community to advocate for the following prevention strategies:

1) Collaborate with DHHS on NAP-SACC training across Lincoln child care centers.

2) Healthy Living Workshop events.
