Governmental Policies and Programs Working Group

Healthy behavior changes are sustained only if there are environmental policies that support these changes. The Governmental Polices and Programs working group will coordinate efforts to address and prevent childhood obesity across government departments and jurisdictions, engaging city leaders and policymakers as advocates:

1) To advocate for support and promote the policy initiatives of the TKF working groups.

2) To establish a database network of community members committed to taking action on policy initiatives.

3) To coordinate efforts to address and prevent childhood obesity across government departments and jurisdictions, engaging city leaders and policymakers as advocates.
