Physician Champions
Nebraska currently has several physicians and healthcare professionals mobilized as champions addressing the growing epidemic of childhood obesity in our state.
Working in the areas of community collaboration, raising awareness of the obesity epidemic in their communities, disseminating consistent prevention messages and advocating for policy change, physican champions are working to improve the health of Nebraska children.
