5-4-3-2-1 Go!™ is a simple healthy living message developed by CLOCC (www.clocc.net).
The 5-4-3-2-1 Go! message contains recommendations for children to promote a healthy lifestyle:
5 servings of fruits and vegetables a day
4 servings of water a day
3 servings of low-fat dairy a day
2 or less hours of screen time a day
1 or more hours of physical activity a day
It is simple, fun and easy to remember. Individuals, families, child-care centers, doctors, organizations, schools, businesses, and faith groups can all use the message to start living a healthy lifestyle. The message is for everyone.
You may have already heard about 54321Go! at school or at your doctor’s office.
Teach a Kid to Fish is working with the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department and community partners to spread the 54321Go! throughout the community.
